Our Team

Anthony started in the direct mail industry while he was still in college.  He was attending college full time during the day and working 4:30pm to midnight at Long Island New York direct mail and Fulfillment center.  During those long days he realized quickly that the direct mail industry was for him.  With a strong background in database management, he continually took on additional responsibility until he was eventually running their computer service department.  Fate ultimately led him to Houston.   In 1996 Anthony was offered a position with a Houston based direct mail company and he made the big move to Houston Texas.  After learning more of the variable print side of the direct mail business, Anthony eventually found himself working for a large full service commercial printer.  It was there that he learned to printing side of the direct mail business.  After less than a year, the commercial printer he was working for was acquired by large conglomerate and Anthony found himself unemployed for the first and only time in his career.   At that point Anthony decided to bet on himself.  In 1999, he took his savings and borrowed what he could to found Data & Mailing Resources.  With a lot of hard work, lots of overtime and good amount of luck, DMR has grown into the company it is today.  Twenty-five years later, Anthony is still very hands on with the daily operations, planning and executing long term projects, equipment research and acquisition, overseeing facility maintenance and improvements, overseeing accounting, as well as assisting in acquiring new accounts.

Anthony is very proud to call Texas, specifically Houston his home.  His only son, Anthony IV, graduated from St Thomas High School and went on to earn his Bachelors and Masters from the University of St Thomas.  Anthony spends most of his weekends at his home in Freeport Texas fishing, boating, grilling and just enjoying life on the water.

Vice President of Operations at DMR, making mail is in his blood. As a teenager, his first part time job was direct mail. He was given a phone book, a few thousand postcards, and tasked with handwriting, stamping and mailing out these cards.  He attended Binghamton University, the number one ranked public university in New York, and graduated with a BS in Management with a concentration in finance. His relationship with mail continued during college as he worked seasonally at a Publisher's Clearing House facility on Long Island, sorting mail, and then at the age of 23 officially entered the direct mail industry.  At a mailing and fulfillment center in New York he climbed the ranks of the company, eventually becoming computer services manager.

His next chapter would land him in Missouri, and he would find himself quickly back in the direct mail and print world, in the capacity of Data Processing manager for the largest mail shop in Springfield.  Then, that fateful call would come in June 2001 from DMR seeing if Mr. Baumann would be interested in the operations manager role.  After assessing the potential of such a move, he upped and moved his young family to Houston.

As the company grew from it’s humble beginnings, Anthony’s role eventually evolved to Vice President of Operations.  Anthony overseas all facets of DMR operations, ranging from it’s digital department with 2 four color presses and 4 black print only machines, to a full bindery house that can handle any aspect of a direct mail project.  He can be seen on a daily basis inspecting the jobs in process to ensure all client needs are handled in an efficient and timely manner.  He is proud of the hundreds of thousands of pieces of beautiful mail DMR produces on a daily basis and extremely happy with the crew that he has helped settle as the foundation of the company. Now, with over 25 years of experience in the mailing and printing industry, Anthony is uniquely suited to draw from his vast experience so that when he says something is going to happen, he will find a way to make it happen, every time.

Away from the shop, Anthony loves to travel and explore the world with his wife, read, talk stocks, golf and from time to time can be found at the roulette tables around the country, praying for black-31 to hit.

Randi joined DMR in March 2015, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the direct mail and printing industry, where she has worked since 2012. Eager to focus on direct mail, Randi’s extensive background in mailing and project management makes her well-suited for handling specialized projects. As a result, DMR assigns her to manage some of our largest and most prestigious clients. Randi is an energetic self-starter with a talent for building strong relationships with clients, vendors, colleagues, and other key decision-makers. She is proficient in various software packages for graphics, presentations, spreadsheets, and contact management. With a strong work ethic, industry experience, and excellent multitasking skills, Randi is a highly effective and valuable member of the team. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, soaking up the sun, spending time with friends and family, cleaning and organizing and caring for her three cherished pets.

Starting in our production department, Alex has been with DMR since 2016. He joined the team full time in 2020 before transitioning into project management. A dedicated and hardworking professional, Alex brings extensive knowledge of the various facets at DMR, supported by solid experience in Python and JavaScript. Alex's reliability is a cornerstone of his work ethic, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, regardless of the challenge.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his two cats, Soup and Bast, and has a passion for traveling, especially exploring new cities. This balance of dedication at work and curiosity in his personal life drives his continuous growth and adaptability here at DMR.
