USPS Postage Rate increase coming this July

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has proposed postage rate increases for various services, set to take effect July 13, 2025, pending approval by the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC). Here’s a summary of the key changes based on available information:

Mailing Services (Market Dominant Products)

  • First-Class Mail Forever Stamp: will increase by 5 cents, from 73 cents to 78 cents.
  • Metered Mail (1 oz.): Will rise from 69 cents to 74 cents.
  • Domestic Postcards: The cost will increase by 6 cents, from 56 cents to 62 cents.
  • Marketing Mail/Standard Mail will see the 5 Digit SCF Letter rate going from 31.8 cents to 35.4 cents which is an 11.3% rate increase.
